About PlanPrice

Who is behind it

PlanPrice is an independent project. It is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Apple or Google and is not paid by them.

The site does not name authors. Instead, every price links to the public page it was read from, with the time it was read and a fingerprint of the raw evidence, and the method is published, so each number can be checked without taking anyone's word for it.

How pages are made

Prices are read by automated collectors from public store and vendor pages and must pass validation rules before they are published. A price older than its freshness window is labelled stale automatically, even when nothing new was read.

Plan descriptions and answers link to the vendor page they rely on and show the date they were checked. Each language version is reviewed for native wording before it is published.

Dates on every page

"Prices updated" is the time of the published price snapshot. "Prices verified" is the newest price read that still counts as current. "Published" is the date the site first went live.

Money

No ads, no affiliate links, no sponsored placements. Nothing is ever shown above the answer.

Corrections

Records are never edited after the fact: a correction is a new observation with its own date and source, and the change log shows it. If something looks wrong, the evidence under each price shows what was read, when and where.
