Cursor's earlier individual plan, kept for existing customers: two monthly usage pools, one for Cursor's own models and one for third-party models, plus unlimited Tab completions, Bugbot, Cloud Agents, Automations, Origin and the Cursor SDK. Cursor names Premium (X Premium in the App Store) as the comparable plan on The X Subscription.
Everything in Pro with more of each monthly usage pool. Its comparable plan on The X Subscription, X Ultra in the App Store, shares the name but works differently: one weekly pool shared with Grok, with third-party models billed separately.
The X Subscription's Premium tier, sold on cursor.com and in the App Store as X Premium: Cursor's Agent with four times the Plus tier's usage from one weekly pool shared with Grok, Cloud Agents and Automations, code hosting on Origin, code review with Bugbot, third-party models at API list price from prepaid credit, Grok Bot, and Grok's Chat, Voice, Imagine and Build. Monthly or annual billing.
Everything in Premium with fifteen times the Plus tier's usage and priority model access at peak times. Sold on cursor.com as Super and in the App Store as X Super.
Everything in Super with fifty times the Plus tier's usage and the earliest access to new products and models. Sold on cursor.com as Ultra and in the App Store as X Ultra.
Cursor's Plus tier (X Plus in our table), The X Subscription's introductory tier, sold on cursor.com only (no App Store item): Cursor's Agent with Cursor's own models (Grok 4.7, Grok 4.6, Grok 4.5 and Composer 2.5) at fixed settings from one weekly pool shared with Grok, plus Grok's Chat, Voice, Imagine and Build and Grok API access. No Cloud Agents, Automations, Bugbot, Origin, third-party models or your own API keys.
Cursor is now sold as part of The X Subscription, one subscription for Grok, Cursor and X. On cursor.com it sells four paid tiers, Plus, Premium, Super and Ultra, priced in US dollars before tax; our table shows that as one global price, not as a local price for your country. Cursor's iPhone app lists two families of App Store subscriptions side by side: The X Subscription's X Premium, X Super and X Ultra, and Cursor's earlier plans Pro, Pro+ and Ultra, which continue. Plus is sold on the web only and has no App Store item. Every price below names its channel, tax basis, billing period and the date we checked it.

Tax bases differ between countries; each row shows its own.
Each store charges the price of the country your account or payment method belongs to. Changing that country is governed by the store's and the vendor's terms. This table compares official prices; it is not a guide to switching.

Plus is the lowest paid tier on cursor.com. It includes Cursor's Agent with Cursor's own models only, at fixed settings, and Grok's apps; Cursor says to move to Premium or higher for third-party models, Fast mode and effort levels.
On Pro, Pro+ and Ultra, usage beyond the included pools stays off until you turn on on-demand usage. It is billed monthly in arrears at the same per-model rates, and you can set a monthly spend limit under Spending in your Cursor dashboard.
Each paid plan on The X Subscription includes at least twice the coding usage with Cursor's own models of the earlier plan it replaces and adds Grok and X benefits, but it drops the included allowance for third-party models, which are then billed separately. Cursor advises comparing both before you switch; a switch is permanent.
It depends on the channel. Cursor's pricing page says its prices do not include applicable taxes or fees, such as VAT, so our table labels Cursor's web prices before tax. Apple shows App Store prices with tax included everywhere except the US and Canada, where tax is added at checkout. Our table labels every price with its tax basis.
Cursor's pricing page lists Plus, Premium, Super and Ultra in US dollars a month, before tax, and doesn't show a local currency. Our table shows it as one global price in US dollars, labelled as such, and never as your country's local price. The App Store columns show each storefront's own price.
What is the difference between Pro, Pro+ and Ultra?
All three include the same features: two monthly usage pools, unlimited Tab completions, Bugbot, Cloud Agents, Automations, Origin and the Cursor SDK, with Fast mode and Grok effort levels. Pro+ and Ultra include more of each usage pool than Pro. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the billing period.
Yes, on The X Subscription: Cursor's docs say Plus, Premium, Super and Ultra can be billed annually. Our web column shows the monthly prices on Cursor's pricing page. In the App Store, X Premium is listed as a yearly subscription next to the monthly one (US and German storefront catalogs read on 22 October 2026), and our table shows its upfront price. Cursor's earlier plans Pro, Pro+ and Ultra are listed in the App Store as monthly subscriptions.
I pay for Cursor through the App Store. What changes for me?
Nothing, unless you act: your App Store plan, price, features and Apple billing continue until you cancel through Apple. To change between Cursor plans, an App Store subscriber first has to switch to The X Subscription. If you switch, cancel the App Store subscription yourself in your iPhone or iPad settings, or Apple keeps billing you, and ask Apple for any refund.
For an App Store subscription, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select Cursor and choose the cancellation option. Cancelling The X Subscription does not cancel a separate App Store subscription to Cursor. On cursor.com, Cursor says you can cancel any time, at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid another charge; The X Subscription plans are managed under billing at grok.com/dashboard, and Cursor's earlier plans Pro, Pro+ and Ultra under billing at cursor.com/dashboard.
